Founded in 2019, NexBridge Health Systems is a specialized healthcare IT consulting and staffing firm supporting EHR, interoperability and application operations work for healthcare organizations in the United States and Canada.

Who we are

We work with hospitals, health systems and ambulatory organizations that need experienced healthcare IT consultants for defined scopes of work, ongoing application support, and interoperability engagements.

Company history
  1. 2019
    NexBridge Health Systems founded.

Founded as a specialized healthcare IT consulting and staffing firm serving hospitals and health systems in the United States and Canada.

Why NexBridge exists

Healthcare organizations often need experienced Epic, Oracle Health, HL7 and FHIR resources for finite windows of work: an activation, an upgrade, a backlog reduction, an integration project, or coverage for a leave.

NexBridge was formed to match those requests with consultants who have already done the work in a healthcare setting, without pulling in generalist firms or unrelated industries.

What we focus on

Our practice areas are limited on purpose. We staff and deliver only in categories where we can supply consultants with directly relevant healthcare IT experience.

  • Epic consulting

Application analysts, principal trainers, activation and optimization support across inpatient, ambulatory and revenue cycle modules.

  • Interoperability (HL7 and FHIR)

Interface development, FHIR APIs, HL7 v2 messaging, TEFCA and health information exchange work.

  • HIM and identity

Health information management, MPI/EMPI cleanup, patient identity and record integrity support.

  • Managed application support

Ongoing analyst-level support for Epic and other clinical applications, including ticket triage and enhancement work.

  • Oracle Health (secondary practice)

Cerner Millennium and related module support on a limited basis.

How we work
  1. 01

    Intake

We collect the scope, application area, timeline and required experience level from the requesting team.

  2. 02

    Sourcing

We match the request against consultants in our network who have completed similar work in healthcare settings.

  3. 03

    Screening

Candidates are HR-screened. When applicable to the role, references are requested and certifications are reviewed prior to submission.

  4. 04

    Engagement

Work is delivered under a signed statement of work or staffing agreement. Deliverables and hours are documented weekly.

  5. 05

    Continuity

For ongoing support, we work with the client to plan coverage and knowledge transfer so the engagement is not dependent on a single consultant.

Leadership and responsibility

Named contacts accountable for specific areas of the practice. Additional profiles appear here only after the individual has approved their biography, title and photograph.

Each engagement establishes a primary NexBridge contact, defined client stakeholders, documented responsibilities and an agreed communication path. Engagement structure varies according to scope and client requirements.
